The Red Rose Classic Motorcycle Club was founded in late 1992, to run and promote pre-65 trials in Lancashire.

Although we are based in North East Lancashire, we have members from all over Lancashire and the surrounding counties. We currently run 11 trials a year that count towards an annual club championship, a fun trial at Christmas a round of the Northern British Bike Championship and the National Twinshock Championship.

Welcome to our Club

Club News

We welcome all levels of ability, from beginners to experts, at our trial venues.

Air cooled, drum braked twinshock machines are welcome at our events.

We aim to hold the trials with minimum regulations, 'keeping the sport within the spirit intended'.

You are welcome to come along for further information about our trials or spectate.

Clerks to the course needed to set out sections.

Thanks to all the people that have volunteered to help out with trials - your help is what keeps the club going.  We always require help, so if you want to help with running the club, observing or setting out trials, please get in touch either with the Club secretary or Chairman, or by using the contact form on the website  more...

Thanks to all the volunteers...

A very big thank you to everyone who help out over the trial weekends to enable the trials to be a success; it's very much appreciated. We would also thank the land owners for their support during the events.

Club  Annual Donations.

We are pleased to support North West Air Ambulance and Pendleside Hospice.

Please see the new club trial dates for 2020!

Hope you enjoy the trials this year, and we welcome any feedback.

New for 2020 is the introduction of the new beginners route.  We look forward to introducing new riders young and not so young.  If you would like to try the new route, or one of the usual routes, please feel free to turn up on the day of the trial.

Trials cost £15 to ride.  You will need to also join the club.  The club membership price is a very reasonable yearly one off cost of £10.  This can be paid on the day of your first trial, or you can send this through to Neil Rushton with the membership form available on this website.

If you have any questions, please contact one of the committe members.

Championship and Club results are available on the results page.

Upcoming Events

Noyna Sunday 23rd August

As Covid restrictions are now being eased by the goverment we have received permits from A.M.C.A to run trials.

Restrictions are in place which means these trials will not follow our usual format and therefore will run as standalone trials, not counting towards either of the championships.

As the clerks of the course will now have several more duties to perform and there are no championship positions at stake, the trials will be set with just two routes.

Trials will be limited to 40 riders, entry and payment will be online before the event.

Details of how to do this will appear on the website 10 days before the event.

There will be no entries taken on the day.

Events will be limited to current paid up members only.

Only riders and officials will be allowed access to the venue. No spectators will be allowed.

Covid-19 Update:

The next Club Meeting will be held as usual on Tuesday 11th  August 2020 and the next trial will be Sunday 23rd August 2020 at Noyna
